Using Telecom USA FAQs

How do I use my card?
Follow these steps to use your Telecom USA card:
  1. Dial either our toll free number or one of our local access numbers
  2. Enter your PIN information when prompted
  3. Dial the number you wish to call
    • For US numbers, dial 1+ Area Code + number
    • For International numbers, dial 011 + Country Code + City Code + Number
  4. To place another call, press # # or hang up when finished
What are your local access numbers?
Telecom USA offers local access numbers across the US. Calls to our local access numbers are not billed against your calling card. Your local long distance provider may charge you for these calls, so make sure you check to see if there are any long distance charges before using these numbers.
Do you have an 800 number?
Yes. Calls to our 800 number are billed at an additional $.04 per minute, but can be access toll-free from anywhere in the US.
Where do I get my PIN number?
Your PIN number will be e-mailed to you as soon as we complete processing your order.
Can I place another call?
Yes. When using the service, press the pound key (#) twice and you will be prompted to enter another number you wish to call.
Do the cards work outside the US?
You can call the local access numbers from anywhere in the world, but you will be paying International Long Distance rates for that call. 800 service is not available outside of the US.
Can I make calls to the US with these cards?
Yes. All of our cards offer great, low rates for US calling.
When does my card expire?
All of our cards expire 60 days from the date of activation.
Are there any payphone surcharges?
Yes. A surcharge of $.79 per call will be levied on calls from payphones.
Are there different rates for different times of the day?
No. All of our rates are good 24/7.
Do your rates change?
Yes. All rates are subject to change. Current rate information is always available on our website.
