New ways of Interconnect
In addition to a traditional PSTN interconnect, Telecom USA Carrier Services also offer our customers the possibility to interconnect on an IP level instead. You can choose to terminate VoIP traffic at the PSTN as well as receive voice traffic from PSTN via a SIP interface. The connection to PSTN is established via one of Telecom USA's international interconnect exchanges. The VoIP traffic is transported transparently between the SIP access and the SS7 PSTN gateway using Telecom USA's VoIP network as transport.
